Antigua Fonda bed and breakfast (or self catering whole house rental) with 4 large, double, en suite bedrooms in Alcalá de los Gazules - one of the famous white villages on the bull route (la ruta antigua de Los Toros). Alcalá is situated between Jerez de la Frontera and Algeciras and is just 40 minutes by car to Gibraltar and Jerez airports. There are many lovely beaches on Costa de la Luz which are easily accessible within 30 minutes.



The original house dates from around 1826 and had a former life as both a bar and hostal - known as Fonda Espanola. We have converted the building into a family home for us and a bed and breakfast with four large guest bedrooms. The top floor contains a very large guest area which includes a large kitchen, breakfast area and TV lounge. There is also an outside area to enjoy the sunshine - or just relax in one of the two shaded areas, one of which contains an 8 person dining table - to make the most of those balmy summer evenings. Two of the bedrooms have twin beds whilst the other two have doubles. We have installed air conditioning in the outer bedrooms and in the guest area.
